My co-worker brought in 4 kinds of goat cheese for our snacking pleasure today. The cheeses we enjoyed are:
Picandine Crottin Du Perigord French -sooooo good and creamy with a very rich mouth feel, reminded me of warm marscapone cheese, but with a nice goat flavor.
Mini Pyramide Blanche -a French mild goat with a creamy clean flavor
Ticklemore Neal’s Dairy-UK– MY favorite has a softer layer between wash rind and firm center, the soft layer is nutty but mild similar to a triple cream, but the center is firm and airy with a crumble texture similar to Feta but with a sweet almost floral finish. I could eat it all
Capriole Julianna, US– semi firm, nutty with a mild herb studded rind.
