I have already designed the Thanksgiving menu this year and expect many entertaining posts and tasty recipes. This year it is at my mother’s house in Indiana. I am doing the cooking and she is hosting. Her oven is old and not working well so baking in it is out of the question. I am planning on baking on the grill Wednesday evening while prepping and drinking heavily. I have the cocktails planned out as well and one is a pear rosemary cocktail by Martha Stewart (all hail Martha). I am on a pear cocktail kick as my pear margarita post from last week reflects. Today I put the pears into the vodka. I didn’t have sekel so I went with very ripe Bartlett. I used 3 pears per one quart jar, then cover with vodka and let sit looking purty until drinking time.
